Flower Carpet

Shiba- Zakura no Oka ( The hill of Moss Phlox)

About 1.6 ha ground is covered with over 350,000 roots and 8 kinds of Moss Phlox.
That sublime scenery is as if a huge carpet of patchwork.

Bright blue sky... spring winds... and soft color of flower.
No one doubts it's a spring magic.

The language of Shiba- zakura is " perseverance."

Hello again!!
I'm glad to find your new blog.
You did go to Hitsuzigaoka!
I can imagine that you must have been in a good feeling.
These photos reminds me the good memory.
Two years ago, I watched the advertising about there on the train.
I suddenly e-mailed my daughter that I have wanted to go there with her.
Afterward, I bought the tickets and we went there next day.
It was amazing!
I have never seen such a huge crowd of flowers.
As you mentioned that is as if huge carpet of patchwork.

I'm looking forward to seeing your next blog.

Thank you for coming back to my blog!
You did visit the Hitsuzigaoka, too! So you know that awesome sight!
My parents have visited some times before, and told me about Shibazakura. I haven't had chances to go there until this time.
Recently they headline it in the trains and the stations.
It's very far from our house, and the train that takes us there is very crowded because it got famous, however, I certain that it's worthy to visit!
